Welcome to Primary 6!

Our teacher this year is Miss Heaney and our learning support assistants who help us are Ms Dixon, Ms Mullan and Ms Brown.

In our class, we aim to work hard but also have lots of fun! We have a very busy timetable (see below). At the moment, our day for wearing PE gear into school is a Monday. Please ensure your child has a waterproof coat, a bottle of water and a healthy snack each day.

Primary 6 is an important year for our children. It is a year of preparation for those who wish to sit the Transfer Test at the beginning of primary 7 but it is an important academic year for all. It is crucial that children are completing their assigned homework tasks every night to revise and consolidate their learning.

Reading is particularly important – please encourage your children to read as much as possible!  "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." — Dr. Seuss
